Those of me who know me, know this about myself, If I like something, I won’t stop talking about it. It is not often that you come across a company that not only makes great products but stands 100% behind it. The company I am talking about is G-Code holsters by TacticalHolsters.com.
I’ve been using their products in all my training for several years. The RTI system they offer makes changing holsters a snap. I can go from shooting a 1911 style pistol to a Glock with 2 clicks. They offer holsters and magazine holders for all of the popular style handguns. They also support weapon-mounted lights and make holsters with and without retention. I’ve been recommending them to all of my friends and students.
To get to a point, I wanted to purchase a new belt mount, just to have a spare one. The one I currently have is no longer available on their web site. Not knowing what to order, I called and left a message on their answering machine. The next morning, I got a phone call from a representative of the company. During the call, he mentioned that he has only been with a company for a short period of time and wasn’t 100% familiar with the line of products, but he knew that the product I wanted was no longer available. He made several suggestions on what I should order and we said our goodbyes. 15 minutes later my phone rang again. It was the same person on the line telling me that he wasn’t satisfied with the answer he provided to me and ran to grab a shop foreman. He had a discussion with him and had more information for me. He told me that the product I wanted was no longer being offered because it was being replaced with a stronger version that should be out soon. He also told me that they have another product that they offered to modify for me (so that the lifetime warranty would not be voided if I would have done that modification) so it can be used with their RTI system to hold me over until the new version is released. But the cherry on top of the cake was when he told me that they were able to locate one last product that was the same that I had and he told me he was shipping it to me free of charge. Today I got a tracking number via email.
Needless to say, TacticalHoslters.com has me as a customer for life. This kind of service is what separates great companies from the rest. Currently, they are fulfilling a huge Army order, which is causing some delays in the manufacturing and shipping of their products. I am willing to wait.
